Who or what is the soldier guarding at Arlington National Cemetary?
My grandfather is buried there and so is my older brother. Since I dont know my real dad well I dont know what are requirements to be buried at Alrington. Im finally going to see their graves for the first time. It is also when I have have to go say goodbye to my other brother who is heading off to a 15 month tour of duty.

So 2 questions.

Arlington National Cemetary? I was just watching the changing of the guards, and I just wanted to cry. Those soldiers are GREAT!!!! I also saw one of the videos that was on ABC or NBC when the bad storms went through that area and the guard that was standing at the time refused to go inside. It takes strong men and woman to stand completely still for an hour in the cold, and a half hour in the burning hot. God Bless them!!!
So have you been there, if so what was the best part about it for you. I would love to go and see it one day.

As there are many ways to dispose of a person's final remains, how would you want your body to end up? Here are some choices, viewing and burial, memorial services only, viewing and cremation and remains placed into an urn, into urn and buried, urn and into a family niche for an inurnment, miliary services if the decedent was a veteran and witht the veteran whould you want memorial services only or visitation or would you want cremation for the veteran and have a casket placed in the ground in the veteran's place and the remains or for all would you want to share the remains with family members or would you want to spread the family members ashes spread over anywhere?

Personally, I think I am looking at a memorial service without viewing, cremation with shrapnel and surgical steel removed from my body as well as the gold dental fillings, have myself cremated and inurned at Arlington National Cemetary and have my non-biological dental work and military related schrapnel buried inside the casket. Does thie mwk4 wny sense to you or anyone.


When people expire and that peoson was you, how would you want your final remains dealt with and why?
Being from Mass and wanting Obama to win I sure hope Romney runs with McCain. Romney has more skeletons than Arlington National Cemetary and is a mormon who would turn off evangelical voters.


Do people think McCain is really dumb enough to put Romney on the ticket?
ACLU & other liberal groups demand no religious expressions what so ever on government buildings or holdings,etc.
Does that mean they take down any cross insignia or religious symbols in Arlington National Cemetary,(Govt. owned land), also the walls of the Supreme Court etc.

Why is the number 21 so importent at Arlington National Cemetary?
Well I've been in the army for ten years never been in any type of trouble and got promoted ahead of my peers now im a SSG in the army. I recently lied on a sworn statement and disobeying a direct order, then they were going to give me a field grade article 15 i denied it and asked for a court martial they then decided to go for a special court martial. They offered me a 90 days in jail and a bcd. I told them i don't deserve that i put 10 years in the armt with a clean record and been to combat and served my country well. I plead guilty for the lying and disobeying because they offer a cap of 90 days in jail but it will be up to the judge to deside if i stay in and make the chain of command give me a general discharge or he can decide if wants to give me a bcd. What do you think the judge will offer with my clean record and reenlisted twice all my awards me going to combat being selected to work in Arlington National Cemetary. Can someone tell me what you think the judge will give me?well more details one of my soldiers asked me to go out and have a beer and i did and got pulled over on the way home and i called my chain of command and told them but told them i was getting the soldier from a club and wrote that on the sworn statement but the soldier confessed at cidAlso im Infantry so we are very close in that aspect i did plead guilty but i just would hope i would get 30 days in jail and a general because of my past also i have 2 honorable discharges form reenlisting and have really good NCOER/s if i was in any other unit than Fort Lewis i would have told my chain of command but this is a new unit and everyone here is looking to get ahead by sucking !@#$ . Also there really isn't any NCOER support channel at all.
