Was Ricky Hatton struggling against Paulie malignaggi?
First off, I'm not a Ricky Hatton hater, and I don't even like Floyd Mayweather Jr. or Manny Pacquiao.

But if I ever see Ricky Hatton on PPV, or even HBO again, I'm going to laugh my ass off. This guy is a C/B class fighter at his best. Yeah, he was undefeated in his own freaking country. But when he came to the US and fought some real talent, everyone including himself got to see how good he actually isn't. The only reason I consider him an "okay" fighter is because he beat some "okay" fighters in Juan Urango, Juan Lazcano, and Maussa. He got so much hype for beating an over-the-hill Kostya Tszu and Jose Luis Castillo, who were both way past their prime. Many people, including myself, thought Luis Collazo was way too much of a challenge for Ricky to consider him a real contender. And then he's finally tested against a name people actually know, and what happens? Floyd Mayweather Jr. puts on a boxing clinic and knocks him out in the 9th or 10th round. After that, Hatton still convinces himself that he's a champion and fights Paulie Malignaggi, and in my opinion LOST. Everybody saw that Hatton wasn't winning, but it was a gift because he had to win in order for them to make a Hatton-Pacman match. And we all know what happened there. Basically, this guy has been given so many chances to live up to the level that people thought he was, and has failed, pretty badly. What a joke!

Do you think Hatton deserves to be on HBO again? The sad thing about boxing is that if it makes money, it's worth putting on TV. Ricky Hatton would still probably draw in some $$$ from all those fans from his country, but at this point I doubt it would be enough.@Perpetual: Seems like your a Hatton fan, so I understand your biased point of view. However, Ask any BOXING fan, not a Hatton fan, but any boxing fan will tell you that Paulie Malignaggi gave Hatton a run for his money. He's done bro, you've just got to face it and be honest. Come on now, he can't beat the top notch fighters, he'll never be on that level, so what's he gonna do, keep brawling with c/b class fighters? If you want to watch him do that, that's all you. And oh man if it's televised I'm gonna shoot myself. It's pointless, and a joke.@Perpetual again: Ok, whatever, seems like you're too immature for this topic. So let's just say he clobbered Malignaggi. It doesn't change a single thing. Hatton should hang up the gloves. End of story.

Ricky Hatton doesn't deserve to be on HBO/PPV anymore?
I mean the way he stands when boxing, i know's he's orthodox, but how can i imitate the way he stands while boxing. He seems like a pretty good boxer and I wanna try and imitate his fighting style. So if anyone can show me a website or something that can help me do that, i'd appreciate it.

paulie the magic man malignaggi?
Has mayweather made a huge difference in improving ricky hatton? was his fantastic win over paulie malignaggi mayweathers doing?? or was it the fact that paulie just cant throw a punch?? Does ricky hav a chance against manny pacquiao with mayweather as his coach??

Non biased answers please :D

Floyd Mayweather sr overrated?
Ricky Hatton along with Mayweather Sr. will exploit Pacquiaos' inability to box while going backwards. The 1st Eric Morales match which Pacquiao loss by unanimous decision is a great example of this effect even though being avenged twice. Shutting off his forward momentum and staying away from the left punch. When against the ropes or forced backwards Pacquiao just becomes defensive an easy target and it takes away from his punch. Hatton being the stronger of the two will backup Pacquiao. Mayweather Sr. unlike Billy Graham is much more of a technical trainer and has turned Hatton into a technical boxer. Evidence of this is the Paulie Malignaggi match. Hatton did not tie up or grapple at all. Showing lack of this trademark style is a sign of change. Pacquiaos' frequent loss of balance due to constant bouncing and wide leg stance will too be exploited. Always ending his left power punches only on his lead foot. Making it key to counter punch when he misses. Pacquiaos' 1-2 and speed are his only real strengths. Also lets all just admit the De La Hoya match was fixed so the real "Dream Match" could exist. Coincidence Pacquiao's partially promoted by Golden Boy Promotions. De La Hoya was guaranteed $20 million, and Pacquiao and his other promotion company Top Rank, Inc. were guaranteed $11 million. Styles make fights and alot of money. Boxing will respectively regain its glory through this. I predict Ricky Hatton will knockout Manny Pacquiao in the late middle rounds. Hatton just needs to watch his weak chin.Elmer, Pacquiaos' two knockout losses were due to body shots.Ricky Hattons' strength will overwhelm Pacquiao. Hatton's definetly the strongest of the two.Dodging or blocking the initial right jab by moving right to the inside for a body shot watching for a left hook or jab will favor Hatton tremendously. Mayweather Sr.'s a defensive expert.Elmer, it was a left handed bodyshot almost below the belt line. Perhaps too low of a shot. Watch it closely.

Who agrees Pacquiao vs. Hatton?

Zab Judah vs Paulie Malignaggi?
I've gone to every Canastota Induction Weekend since 1998. And I can't wait to be there when Lennox Lewis and Larry Merchant both get inducted on the same day! As far as events I always attend. . . .We usually get there Thursday afternoon, set up our equipment for interviews on the Hall grounds (big white tent), then head over to Graziano's (across the street) for our live broadcast. Friday night is the Night of Rising Stars event at Rusty Rail. This is a great chance to meet up-and-comers. . . last year they had Paulie Malignaggi, Steve Cunningham, Nate Campbell, Shaun George, Chad Dawson, and Peter Manfredo. Autographs and photos were plentiful.

Then, Saturday, we hit the memorabilia show at the High School. Great stuff. . .I think I'll even set up a table and sell prints of my boxing paintings this year. Saturday evening is the VIP Gala (a must-attend!) where forty or so champs and former champs are in one room at the same time with the fans! Then the Banquet never fails to impress. . .as EVERY fighter attending the weekend is there.

Sunday in the Induction Ceremony. . . .with outstanding speeches from the inductees. . .all in all. . . DON'T MISS IT!
