Have you seen the original movie, The Manchurian Candidate (1962)? Your thoughts?
Okay, I just watched the 2004 version of the manchurian candidate. I have not seen the original and the reason I rented this movie was because of Meryl Streep. Ok, I ended up liking the movie but one thing confused the hell out of me! That was the relationship between Eleanor and her son Raymond. Particularly the shower scene I sat there going WTF? So what was it with all th sexual reference in there? Were they actually implying something more than a mother son relationship?

Then he was planted into a position of great influence, having been programmed to usher in tremendous change at the appointed time.

If someone had told me a few years ago that we would have a president that spent over a trillion dollars in less than 4 months took over our banks,auto industry, fired CEO's goes to other countries and bad mouth and apologizes for the US.

Cozy up to every tin pot dictator ala Castro,Chavez,Ortega, goes to muslims countries on 2 separate occasions to suck up..I would have called them stupid and a nut job.
Looks like reality is stranger than fiction because the joke might be on the US and he could be the one?Loks like I got many liberals flumoxed I mean to answer NO without explanation is almost like saying DUH?Heavy ca yes i know what it meant why the hell you think I pose the question a matter a fact i just realize all of his mentors growing up were either terrorist, communist anti Americans or crooks.

I find it interesting how they became estranged. The Reverend was always honest, and outspoken about his beliefs. Hussein Obama, on the other hand, never told anyone what he was thinking, when he ran for president. Personally, I prefer honesty over these Manchurian candidates. What say you?

Please don't elaborate on the numerous possible targets for deployment of explosives and such. The "casualties of legislation" being executed by our dear leader will last far longer and cost vastly more to repair than any act of terrorists imaginable.No hate, don't need the cops.
